
Structural Engineer
Abdul Mukit is a Lecturer at the Department of Civil Engineering, World University of Bangladesh, and a part-time Structural Engineer at AIM. He graduated 1st in his B.Sc. Civil Engineering class at UAP with a CGPA of 3.90/4.00, and is currently pursuing an M.Sc. in Structural Engineering at BUET. His research interests include structural dynamics, wind engineering, vibration control, and machine learning techniques.
Undergraduate thesis: Wind load analysis of a super tall building comparing BNBC 1993 and BNBC 2020, using an ETABS model of the 110-story Willis Tower
Publications include a 2024 ICCESD paper on piled-raft foundation design and a paper on vehicle speed estimation using image processing
